"In a world as polarized as the present, wars are never a good path. Little has changed since Charles Chaplin starred in Shoulder Arms in 1918, a critique of warmongering.

A glimmer of hope appears in the iconic figure of the soldier: he is smiling because a butterfly has landed on his hand.
It is a call from the people for peace, represented by a 20-meter-tall figure, probably the largest ever created in the history of the Fallas festival. The central piece begins in black and white at the feet and gradually takes on color as it approaches the flowers and the butterfly in its hand.
Behind them, two enormous hands release a cluster of hearts, highlighting the spirit of peace that permeates the falla. Alongside them, boys and girls participate in cultural activities related to painting, reading, and music."

HOPE FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE PLANET
Hope is desire or expectation. It's a falla that needs to keep that appointment forever, where good people form alliances.
Desiring a slightly better world shouldn't be a problem, nor is it necessary to construct an immense poem for everything to shine like gold.

If the dragon of the East doesn't lower its smoke, the Western world will suffocate and despair.
The climate is changing, that's obvious, but people can change too; they must make the firm decision to take action for the Earth. We still have time; change is in our hands. Let's stop global warming if we just put in a little effort.
A small effort is asked of us to recover our climate, to make the Earth our clean homeland, to prevent us from ending in tragedy.

HOPE FOR THE END OF WARS
Let us say goodbye to wars, with the desire for a better future. One only needs to feel a heartbeat; peace is neither right nor left.
Wars weep, innocents, while the rich laugh indecently, driven by evil. Hope is the cry of hope launched from this square.
Never lose hope; let peace fly, not vengeance; let conscience be what advances, and never again shall the world fall into slaughter.
We exchange war for art; let the weapons fall, let the bombs never return, and we make peace our standard.

HOPE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE A FUTURE
Having a family, a car, and a house was the norm in the eighties. Today, when you turn forty, with banks and other lenders, debt can overwhelm you.
Having children now is risky; it's better to save than to endure a great ordeal, raising them in fear and without dreams.
We must build a better future for young people who think of suffering in other lands to get ahead.
It was easier to have a roof over your head years ago; with two salaries, you could afford a home. Now, as a minister, you can't expect anything less; you have to be satisfied with life.
Young people dream of owning their own home. It's a desire they yearn for every day. We hope things will change soon, and that buying an apartment won't be a pipe dream.

HOPE FOR POLITICIANS TO TALK
Reds and Blues, Blues and Reds, they fight over a seat. Any politician would go crazy for it, to the point of madness.
They will abandon their confrontational ideas and learn to dialogue, so they can better legislate and move forward, to gain well-being.
It's all shouting, mockery, and revenge. And we, the very bewildered citizens, watch in astonishment the spectacle of these 'spoiled fools'.
It wasn't difficult to reach consensus; they used to talk, but it was a different time. Now they are as hard as rocks, and we witness very intense debates.

HOPE FOR AN INTEGRATED SOCIETY
In a world where everyone belongs, the answer must be clear. We don't want another missed opportunity; we will stand up against discrimination.
Let us all raise our voices, let no one be left behind; only united and with courage will we stop all suffering.

HOPE FOR A CURE FOR CANCER
The goal for researchers is to find a cure for this inhumane scourge, to discover a vaccine that, when it arrives, will show the virus who's boss.
The day will come when the bell rings, and the young people will be reunited with the life they have fought tirelessly for, dreaming of one day being cancer-free.
