Falla Cuba-Azorín

"Passing on"

Artist: Carlos Carsí.

Prize: 9th Special Section.

Cost: 110.000 Euros.

"'Passing on to a better life"' is a euphemism for dying and leaving behind the sufferings of this life. On the Day of the Dead, life and the memory of the deceased are celebrated.

In everyday life, this expression is also used to refer to things that, due to the evolution of times or technology, have changed in our neighborhoods, in our lives, in our society, and in politics."

NOTE: The Cuba-Azorín falla had a problem with the artist in charge, and he didn't finish setting up the falla, leaving scenes and posters unfinished. Hence its last-place ranking. That is why some texts about the fault are missing.

She cries and laments on social media; no one follows her, she has no likes, she's not trendy... and the woman is wasting away!
